Please join us for this important
statewide event.

The Lifespan Respite Planning Summit is a special one-day event for family caregivers representing all ages and disabilities, government agencies, statewide organizations, community and faith-based agencies, respite providers, and Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) partner agencies.

Join us June 18, 2015, for this FREE working meeting to learn more about Lifespan Respite in North Carolina. Help us educate everyone across the state about the need for respite and share your voice on ways to improve the accessibility and sustainability of respite for family caregivers.

The Lifespan Respite Care Program was authorized by Congress in 2006 under Title XXIX of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C 201). Lifespan Respite Care programs are coordinated systems of accessible, community-based respite care services for family caregivers of children and adults of all ages with special needs. The North Carolina Lifespan Respite Project and North Carolina Respite Care Coalition are working together to expand, enhance, coordinate and sustain respite care for families across the state.
